In Lippstadt, im Ortsteil Lipperode, betreiben wir seit 2015 einen WLAN-Hotspot, dessen Zugang nur für persönlich bekannte Nutzer freigegeben ist. Zusätzlich betreiben wir seit 2025 in einer Kleingartenanlage in Lippstadt einen LTE/WLAN-Hotspot um einen gemeinsam genutzten Internetzugang für Kleingarten-Pächter zur Verfügung stellen zu können. Ausserdem ist so per WLAN vernetzte Infrastruktur innerhalb der Kleingartenanlage möglich. Das verbindet nicht nur technisch, sondern auch menschlich.

Der Vorteil der zentralen Speicherung und Verwaltung an einem Ort ist der das man jederzeit und überall Zugriff auf seine Bookmarks hat, egal mit welchem Webbrowser und egal an welchem Ort. So ist auch die Nutzung und Verwaltung von gemeinsam angelegten Links mit mehreren Benutzern möglich, die alle Zugriff auf einen Datenbestand haben. Bookmarks können als privat, für eine Gruppe oder öffentlich für jeden verfügbar angelegt werden. Benutzer können Gruppen, Ordner und Strukturen anlegen um Bookmarks logisch sortiert aufzubereiten.

Der Bookmark-Server ist als Dienst so angelegt das Sie ihn als ständig verfügbare, schmale Seitenleiste (Sidebar) in ihrem Webbrowser einfügen können, beispielsweise am linken oder rechten Seitenrand. So können Sie sehr schnell auf alle wichtigen Webseiten sehr übersichtlich zugreifen.

&lt;p&gt;
Der Bookmark-Server bzw. die Links sind für die täglichen Online-Arbeiten so essentiell wichtig, das wir dafür eine Hochverfügbarkeitslösung einsetzen. Damit bei einem möglichen Webserver-Ausfall trotzdem noch auf die Bookmarks bzw. Links zugegriffen werden kann, gibt es zwei redundante Installationen auf verschiedenen Servern an verschiedenen Standorten auf die im Falle eines Ausfalls umgeschwenkt werden kann. Die zentrale Adresse verweist dabei stets auf die aktuell gültige Installation.

Der Bookmark-Server steht sowohl lokalen Benutzern im Intranet, als auch Benutzern im Internet nach einer Benutzer-Registrierung zur Verfügung. Wenn Sie diesen Dienst nutzen möchten, müssen Sie sich zuvor als Benutzer registrieren lassen. Dies kann nur über den Administrator erfolgen. Bitte wenden Sie sich dazu an über das Kontaktformular an uns und geben Sie uns einen gewünschten Login-Namen (ein Wort ohne Leerzeichen, max. 10 Zeichen), ein gewünschtes Passwort und ihre E-Mail Adresse (diese muss dauerhaft erreichbar sein, keine temporäre Adresse).
